Full of exuberance, Steph is animated in everything she does. Probably one of the best qualities for her, as it makes everyone forget just how tall she isn't.

At 4'10", she is one of the few adults shorter than me lol.

Steph manages an Aladdin's Bail Bonds branch. That's right, a 4'10" woman who somewhat resembles Jody Foster could be the gal who frees your patootie out of jail if you live in Idaho. Needless to say, I am very proud of her!

This was taken during spring break, camping at Staircase in the Olympic mountains in the pouring rain....and yes, it had the nerve to literally pour the entire week. I wouldn't have missed it for anything!!!

We often went camping when the kids were young, even if it meant setting the tent up in the dark of night. Just like the postman, it didn't matter if there was snow, rain, sleet or occasional sun (the far north of Washington State has never gotten the amount of sun everyone else seems to know lol).

The two young girls in the center of this pic are the same age...the little one on the right is Stephene, tiny from the day she was born. My dad is on the far left and myself sitting sidesaddle on Princess (she was a dark dappled gray then), 2 seconds from being thrown to the ground lol.

Being towed down the mountain on cardboard with mom at the wheel....OK, ok, so we all know this wasn't safe, but back then, it's what we did.

Steph had to be the cutest 5 year old ever!! Poor kid was so small, they insisted she take kindergarten over again...not because she couldn't do the work (she was extremely bright), but because she was soooo tiny they worried she would get hurt among the larger children.

Before I opened the large center at the school, I had a little mini daycare center in my home. Stephene is the tiny one eating crayons and the top of Vanessa's head can barely be seen at the bottom of the photo. Those were the days!!!
