Perching On His Own! - 8.1.2012

The quills are popping out all over now...see them along the top of his back and along his neck and chest. Ick never seemed to notice the quills while Davi is itchy all day from them.

Wow - look at those enormous feet! I've got a cockatiel and although she is now fully feathered she is so tiny compared to this!

He does have huge feet Serene Selene! I tried to catch him discovering them, but the photos just don't show it well. Very cute regardless. BTW - I would love to see more pictures of Peeky. Let me know when you post them, please! High five



JRL1, Davinci is a Congo African Gray. They can grow up to 2 pounds, though most stay around 1 pound.
