These rocks have an unusual shape, like manmade? Very nice picture. I'm very interested in history and geology.

The rocks directly around Lake Tahoe are a Jurassic/volcanic mix and most look just like this. I posted some interesting links about the rock formations under this image: photo titled Down the dirt road to the valley floor Thumbs up
