Nope. The wicks never wear out. I have one that's about 45 years old, and I've never had to replace the wick.

I just got ANOTHER one today, as soon as G/T approves the pic, I'll post it.

It's really cool - 2 tear-drop shapes on 1 base. Got purple lamp oil for them.
