I know alot of people have been wondering where I have been. Fear not everyone, I'm fine. I've been extremely busy and very frustrated with my internet service here. Well, I was sick too for a short time but feeling much better now. We finally got moved to the farmhouse. It's so quiet here but that has it's price. There is no internet service. My choices are dial up or the Verizon aircard that I'm using now. I've been walking around carrying my laptop trying to get enough bars to log on. It's not easy! I don't need to tell anyone what that's like. I am going to make more of an effort to get back here. Now that we're all moved, I'm sure I will have more time for fun. I miss you all and not a day goes by that I haven't thought about you all. I would be so lost without my friends here. Thank you all for caring. It's good to know that so many of you do.

I want to start by saying to all of you for your prayers where my sister is concerned. She got her test results yesterday and there is no cancer in her head. They did however find a spot in a lymphnode around her collarbone area. They aren't even sure it is cancer but they gave her two options. One was to wait and see (meanwhile if it is cancer, it gets bigger and harder to get rid of) or she can just go ahead and start with another round of chemotherapy and radiation to stop it from growing and that's what she's opted to do. This has been weighing so heavy on me for so long. I feel relief even though I know she may not be out of the woods yet. The news could've been a whole lot worse though. So, again Thank you everyone.

Now for the Bad and the Ugly. I haven't been giving it 100% lately. The reason being is that Chet's great job came to an abrupt end Friday. He got up for work like usual but there was a phone message from his boss telling him that his run had been cancelled for the night but he needed to come in anyway. Upon arriving there, he was greeted by his boss, his bosses boss and two suits from the main office. They were handing out final paychecks to everyone. As of the end of Friday, the whole terminal was shut down. No notice, no nothing. Another victim of the economy. Soooo, we aren't sure what we're doing yet. We have no savings so we can't stay here for very long. Going to give it till the end of the month and if there's no responses to our resume's and online applications, we're planning on moving back to Pennsylvania (where I will more than likely freeze). He's already gotten two calls from people hiring in Pa so who knows. If I'm behind on my games and sending out invites, this would be the reason and I will try and get myself together. I will stop sigining up for new games and clubs though for awhile until we know what's going on.

I've never had a blog before but I'm told it's a place where you can talk about just about anything you want. Well, heavy on my mind is my sister, Amy. It's my hope that anyone who reads this will take a moment and pray for my sister. I love her so much. A couple of months ago, she complained that she was having a bad ear ache. After many trips to the doctors, it was finally diagnosed. She had a tumor in her ear. She had to go to Miami for surgery. There she was under for over 12 hours and needed 3 different surgeons. Her ear had to be removed as did part of her jaw. The cancer had spread to the lining of her brain. It was the worse day of my life. She made it through the surgery okay and the doctors said that they got all the cancer that they could see. She now has just a little flap (the very top of her ear that was left there in case she wanted to wear glasses) and half her face is paralyzed. She goes through radiation treatments every day and chemotherapy once a week. Soon those treatments will end and she will once again go to Miami for a check up (sometime in October). Then we'll know if she's cancer free or not but not until. I pray for her every day. I can't stop crying just thinking about it. I've met alot of really nice people on this site and I felt like sharing this with you with the hopes that you will take a moment and say a prayer for my sister. It means so much to me.
