Bird Watching
Bird Watching -
For Christmas (2010) I recieved a digital camera. It is a kodak z950. This is the 1st digital camera I've owned. I had to decide what to do with it. I could set it on a shelf and wait until the next birthday or holiday to come along and take some pictures, or, I could find a way to use it. I've always enjoyed nature and birds, so I decided to take up bird watching and taking pictures of birds. I have been enjoying it very much. Infact, I decided to begin a new club here at Goldtoken. It is called The Bird Watchers Club .

Bicycle Riding
I am 69. I retired June 3rd, this year. I bought a bike in jan. Hadn't had one in about 30 years. It's true, we don't forget how to ride a bike. Smiling Went to the store in feb, placed my items in a backpack and tied it onto the back of my bike. I realized that wasn't a good idea. In april I bought a trailer for my bike, now I can get all the groceries I need in one trip. Keeping fit and saving gas money at the same time. Smiling

Re: Bird Watching
Today, before the super bowl game, I went out to the Fort Caroline National Park here in Jacksonville, Fl. I walked the grounds where the French and the Spanish held the fort on the banks of the St Johns River. The views of the river was breath taking. I say to everyone, go out and find places in your own areas to explore. We need to remember our historys, so we can try not to make the mistakes of the past. Enjoy your surroundings.
