New Players
It is a pleasure to welcome JRL and AML to GoldToken. Have fun

ARL is not playing much now. Her father, JRL has left us to watch GT from the clouds, and is enjoying his many new adventures post-mortem.

The pictures from all over the world continue to come in and are posted at

Arrange Fall Flower Decor
Artificial flowers can be held in place by pouring salt into
the vase, adding a little cold water and then arranging the
flowers. The salt become solid as it dries and holds the
flowers in place

Happy Easter
After hosting those backyard easter egg hunts for so MANY years finally the younger generation has a backyard and is carrying on the tradition.

Easter is April 4 2010
In 1953, it took 27 hours to create one Marshmallow Peep.
Today, it takes six minutes.

***

The first Peeps were squeezed one at a time out of a pastry
tube and the eyes were painted on by hand. Now, machines
create 3,500 Peeps' eyes per minute.

***

Just Born's Bethlehem, Pa., factory makes more than 1
billion Peeps a year -- that's 4 million Peeps a day.

Re: Easter is April 4 2010
These are marshmallow candies covered in a colored sugar confection and cut into chicken or rabbit shapes to be sold and put in children's baskets at Eastertime which is April 4th-yucky sweet, not for a connoisseur!

Handy hint
If your DVD player is stacked on top of the TV (or vice
versa) and the picture is fuzzy, the two electromagnetic
fields may be commingling, confusing the signals. (This
usually happens with plastic casings; with metal it's less
likely.) Slip a sheet of foil between the machines to
separate the fields.

WHAT-No comments?
Does anyone read these blogs? I mean besides the "approval" committee?
I have had no emails requesting a $10 Gift Card for http://www.collectmisc.com. Anyone is welcome, I have decor and collectibles for everyone's taste. Sorry only ship within lower 48 states.
But please come and visit me, I am lonely there with my 3500 items waiting for new homes. All brand-new merchandise, shipping starts at $7.50, then is only $12.50 for a $50 order. That's a good deal since I sell tables and heavy outdoor fountains.
Today's Handy Hint:
To get rid of the smell on your dog, instead of using
expensive dog shampoos, use a tomato (i personally use
tomato puree in the same way as you would use regular dog
shampoo) this will rid your dog of its smell for about six
months and your dog will love you for it.

2/24 ALRITE! My first comment, thanks

Re: WHAT-No comments?
If your blogger was planning on leaving, he/she was just cleaning up first (which is very thoughtful) and it was not an offense to you.
On Facebook I delete my daughter-in-laws comments too LOL cause too many people just say "Hi, How are you?" and it means nothing.

I live by the Fort Lewis/McChord base and it sounded so good hearing those planes bringing our service people back from Iraq! And hopefully they will create new jobs, not cause more unemployment.

Hope you are enjoying your weather and thanks for posting.

Re: WHAT-No comments?
Interesting job you have.

I would like too to have a job where posting on blogs and sites brought me a living Smiling

My comments
That is so kind of you, there is a strategy on the forums where you answer "Bump" meaning its read but someone else will have more time to answer.
Seriously I have not read ANY blogs at GT. So I have not been kind enough to leave a "bump" comment.
My store requires window shopping, inventory management, and mostly posting on blogs, forums, dicussion boards, adsites and so on where I can entice new buyers. Not much time left but to just play my GT games.
SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS

Re: WHAT-No comments?
I will give you a comment, only because I feel how it is to blog and noone answers.

By the way, I do read almost all blog posts when I have time. But usually, it takes much more time to write a useful comment Smiling

Tin pie pans often get rusty with regular use. To restore
shine, sprinkle a little salt or baking soda on a cut
potato and rub it over the spot. The oxalic acid in the
potato helps dissolve the rust. Bonus: This trick also
works on knives and cookware
I sell many types of knives and some cookware, including a pot/pan hanger.

Blog Approval
That is excellent, I have never used this since I assumed selling was off limits. That is, until I saw banners advertising products for sale. I might try that again, my last banner never got approved/published.
``If you're repotting a plant, put it into a container just
one inch larger than the old one. Repotting into a
container that's too large can result in soggy soil that
can rot the plant's roots.
Come see the novel little planters I sell, plus a planter screen and stands. http://www.collectmisc.com
