Question: What does blocking mean in backgammon? I have played a whole lot of backgammon games since I joined in 2004. I don't believe I have ever been blocked. I have resigned from games when winning isn't possible and I see that it is a waste of time to continue playing. I concede the game to my opponent, & go on my way. I don't think anyone has been offended by it. Or are you talking about being blocked by someone who doesn't want to interact with you? If the latter is the case, people have a right to do that if they are feeling harassed. It seems rather obnoxious though if people are blocking others permanently just to win a game.
