spacer40 Best Recipe Contest for December's recipe contest is: What are you going to do with that Ham you just bought?

Ham is pork from a leg cut that has been preserved by wet or dry curing, with or without smoking. As a processed meat, the term ham includes both whole cuts of meat and ones that have been mechanically formed. Most hams you'll find made in the United States are city hams. They are wet-cured and made by soaking the meat in a saltwater solution or injecting them with a brine. You may also see country ham, which is dry rubbed and hung to dry like prosciutto. There are also fresh hams, which are uncured.

(#5740765) Re: Seriously? No one does Homemade Spaghetti
Posted by PattyMac on 23 Jan 2026 at 6:20PM
It is asking for just a spaghetti recipe, not for any paste dish, spaghetti. Spaghetti is set apart from other pasta dishes. I think everyone at one time or more has served Spaghetti for lunch, supper or dinner. Everyone has a preferred recipe for making said dish as well. Just the right amount of herbs and just right amount of tomato sauce. Adding meat or adding a sausage of some kind. Looking for those kind of recipes...
