This seems more applicable to an individual game rather than a race to a particular number,which involves multiple games. I'm guessing only the deciding game was included,not all 3 games, as my winning a game would almost certainly preclude me from having more negative points than NEUROTIKA. Whatever it still makes more sense for placement to be decided by a visible score rather than an invisible one
