Posted by steve111 on 13 Oct 2024 at 1:30PM "Send your mother to the boneyard". I agree that's not table talk at all. But it is funny. The unfairness about my example is that the player trying to take all 26 points, many times, even most times, needs to hide the fact as long as possible. Few hands are that strong that the player has complete confidence in taking all the points. So someone pointing out that the other player might be "going for them all" can be the cause of the of the other player getting burned by missing one or two points. Posted by fatdaddy on 13 Oct 2024 at 2:10AM Per Gambler.com - In the game of Hearts, it is generally unacceptable to talk about the location of the queen of spades or notifying other players of someone threatening to "shoot the moon". (#5637395) Re: Table-talking during a game.
Posted by Falsecut on 12 Oct 2024 at 10:01PM Not sure what you think is unfair about it. If somebody said, lead a spade so I can take a heart with it, that would be table talk and unfair. One of my most lasting memories is of my father constantly telling me during dominoes games to "Send your mother to the boneyard". I didn't think that was unfair either.

Posted by steve111 on 12 Oct 2024 at 7:46PM I was playing a game of hearts recently. One player had about 18-19 points. Nobody else had a point. Then another player said this: "somebody take a heart, make sure he doesn't shoot da moon ". I think this kind of comment is unfair. Anybody else have a comment about this? What do you think? Posted by Catmane on 9 Sep 2024 at 4:56PM Thanks for weighing in. Without specifically accusing anyone, perhaps it would be a good thing for GT Admin to investigate this further, especially those of us who have gotten substandard distribution over and over again--thanks! Posted by Falsecut on 31 Aug 2024 at 9:33PM When you drop from a game in some situation, the game redeals. Not sure that is the case here.

Posted by fatdaddy on 30 Aug 2024 at 6:16PM I don't play whist here anymore. I once reported similar card specters and they told me that nothing was out of the ordinary.

Posted by Catmane on 30 Aug 2024 at 6:04PM I'd gotten a hopeless hand in whist not too long ago, which I resigned. When I went back to study the hand for a post mortem, all of a sudden my remaining cards were wonderful, which I NEVER would have resigned! Bring it up to GT management--if there are enough games like this reported perhaps they will dig into the issue more deeply. (#5619445) Re: My Cards Changed!
Posted by Golden Queen of NY on 25 Jul 2024 at 8:50AM Sorry that happened to you, Jaybar. Sounds like a glitch?

Posted by Golden Queen of NY on 25 Jul 2024 at 8:46AM You're right, Steve! Someone did timeout before my cards changed! I didn't know that was part of the rules but thank you for letting me know.

Posted by steve111 on 25 Jul 2024 at 7:43AM I'll bet that someone timed out. That many times prompts a re-deal.

Posted by Jaybar on 25 Jul 2024 at 5:03AM I had a backgammon game yesterday where my opponent rolled 4 & 3 and the game moved him by 14. It made me lose

Posted by Golden Queen of NY on 25 Jul 2024 at 5:01AM No comments or explanations about what happened? Great. Thanks for everyone's help.
(#5617149) My Cards Changed!
Posted by Golden Queen of NY on 13 Jul 2024 at 9:50AM My spades game is broken! In game #14389054 my cards changed by themselves. Now I have a worse hand and the tricks I had previously won were deleted!
