was written by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte at the suggestion of singer Donna Summer. It was first released in June 1975 in the Netherlands as a 3:20 song entitled "Love to Love You" where it reached #13 on their "Single Top 100". A longer 16:49 version was the title track and entire first side of her "Love to Love You Baby" released in August of the same year. In November 1975 a 4:57 single version was a top ten hit.
This disco classic was re - released several times over the years with different mixes and lengths.
