(#5639150) Re: What to win a Halloween Token, take a peek inside

I always like to see how creative the folks here can get with their stories. I enjoy reading them. But, I'm not a fan of "judging", as in voting to see "whose is best." I feel that anyone who submits a story should be recognized in some way. While I know that many people get involved for the sheer chance of gaining tokens, that's not my goal. Here's something that I did with a fellow poet who lived miles away. We had fun with it. He started the first line of a poem. Then I added the second line. Then it went back to him for the third line. And so on. We'd never know where the poem would end up, but it was fun to see what direction it went. Maybe for a one-time Halloween "trick/treat" you could start the first line of a Halloween poem and then ask participants to follow up with the next line; each person adding another line as it progressed. ???? Just a thought. If it goes well, do it again another month. If not, don't do it again. Of course, you'd set the ground rules, i.e. Each line must include a goldie. If you want it to rhyme, what could be a rule. (But, rhyme all lines might be difficult.) But, you get the picture. A few ground rules.
