Magic is my all time favorite player. Although Kobe was great, of course, Magic made the whole team better. Showtime was because of Magic. Kobe was selfish in many ways. I've seen him lose games because he tried to take every shot and ignored open players. Undeniably one of the best offensive players in history, yes, but I'll take Magic over Kobe any day.

If I were to rate all-time Lakers (I'm excluding Mikan, only in Los Angeles here) and I'm including only their time with the Lakers, not their career.
