Wow good job!
Hello everyone and thanks for joining Team Athena.
Olympic Game Schedule:
As to the procedure, it is quite simple. In the wiki [
2019 Winter Games Schedule with Links ] You see a list of the 6 known tournament groups which compose the Olympic games. You may subscribe to freely up to the day when they start. The 7th tournament is composed of mystery games. Those can be either new or recent additions to the games played on Goldtoken, or simply games / variants that are not part of the other 6 groups. We won't know what they are until they start.
Subscribe to the mystery games in this wiki: [
2019 Winter Mystery Games Sign-up ]. If you are allergic to wikis please send me a message about how many or which mystery games you want and I'll enter you.
There is no limit, upper or lower, to the number of games you enter. Note, however, that the membership limits still apply. Silver / Gold / Platinum limits are given here: Membership Options
Please note one very important provision. It is mentioned explicitly on each tournament:
Time Limit 3 days loss of game 60 days per player no game will go over 120 days!
You have 60 days to finish a game. So PLEASE don't subscribe to more games than you can handle. If you are a slow player (Only you can decide that!) do not subscribe to games that take hundreds of move to complete - There is no point in doing so.
Notoriously long games are: Giveaway Backgammon, Dominoes, Senet, 3-point Back/Nack, Barricade, Officer's Skat... there are others too.
Olympic Game Rules:
Round Robin with Divisions. Divisions size is 30. Any games that have over 30 players signed up will break down into divisions. This is done randomly by the system.
GOLD, SILVER & BRONZE medals will be given out for each and every division.
3 days per move, loss of game. 60 day limit - each player has 60 days to complete all the moves in the game. No game will go over 120 days.
Players will be divided into teams and will join their team's club. Sign up for Mystery Games will be done by wiki. For the other 85 games, officers will post links to the tournaments after they've been set up. Players will be able to sign up for the games they want to play by clicking the boxes next to those games in each tournament. The games will start automatically on the dates set.
No limits on number of games players can sign up for, but remember the time limit and don't take on more than you can handle. Smiling
