This is a photo of Vern AKA gravyrun. His daughter Holly wrote this about her dad.
Dad and I both have played here for over 15 years, my sister joannamarie has played for a long time as well. Dad has 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren. Born and raised in California, he moved to New Jersey in the 80’s. He was an over the road truck driver for the majority of his life, moving to local deliveries later on. He loved to play backgammon and cribbage, but couldn’t wrap his head around All Aboard no matter how many times I tried to teach him. He loved to do puzzles and play card games as well. All his kids and grandkids live in Arizona and he would visit us several times a year. He also loved to visit Alaska. He loved sitting on a beach and listening to the waves, with a good margarita in hand. He fought a 25 year battle with cancer and was a true warrior.
