This took quite a bit of effort, but I'm happy to say that the speed problems are now resolved, the site has been running at a good speed for 24 hours now.

Also, the problems with connections of our WebTV-using players being terminated too soon should now be resolved, so the game boards should once again look correctly. If there are still problems with this, please report them in the usual way.

If there are no further issues reported, I will be resuming timeouts in 24 hours from the time of this announcement.
