I wanted to wish everyone who takes up Camelot the very best of luck! To the onlooker the board and pieces appear to be attractive and "neat"! I've been playing this game for over a half a century and trust me! In reality this is a brutal battle of nerve, wits,logic and extreme patience! Since one cleverly planned move can lead to an opponent's entire army being wiped out with one jump it is indeed a matter of survival! Any and all players have a different reaction to being destroyed in one move and some react with a great amount of animosity! I therefore have one tremendous tip for the dedicated players on this site that I do battle with and to those are just discovering what was deemed to be "The Greatest Board Game Of The Nineteenth Century!" Simply this! Do everything in your power to maintain a FRIENDS FIRST COMPETITORS SECOND attitude!! Then you will truly enjoy this truly great game!
