That's not a limerick.

Close, though. But it has to be 3-3-2-2-3 feet each. Thus:

Limerick writing is fun
Each line is a tale that is spun
What the next line will be
Is surprising you'll see
Come join us, and try doing one!

In the original version each line is at least a foot too long.
