Did you see all the beautiful profile pages made by the individual players from the
Holiday Profile Contest? There were really some beautiful ones and a lot of creativity went into decorating those profiles. Each holiday you, too, can enter these contests and decorate your profile page for a chance to win one of the board's awesome tokens made by the graphic team just specifically for the board. March's winner is:
Easter Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients:
1/4 C butter
1 onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic (or more!), finely chopped
1/4 C flour
2 C milk
1 C chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3# potatoes thinly sliced. I use yukon.
1 C parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp rosemary
Heat oven 350. Butter 9x13 pan
Melt butter. Add onion, cook 5 minutes. Add garlic, cook 1 minute. Sprinkle in flour and stir. Cook 2 more minutes.
Whisk in stock to flour mixture. Add in milk, salt, and pepper. Bring mixture to simmer and keep whisking until thickened. Remove from heat.
Combine parmesan, thyme and rosemary
Layer 1/2 of the potatoes in pan. Sprinkle on 1/2 the thyme, rosemary and parmesan cheese. Spoon over 1/2 of sauce and repeat layer of potatoes, remaining sauce, thyme, rosemary and cheese mixture. Cover with foil and bake 30 min.
Remove foil and cook for 30 more minutes.
Set oven to broil and cook 1-2 more minutes.

Easter is right around the corner
and this year is flying
by already. Speaking of flying; Pony Up tokens are flying out to players, along with golderos to the contest winners, on the
Pony Up! board. March's contests included find the hidden objects, famous quotes from 80's movies, players' favorite reasons for coming to GoldToken every day, riddles, brain teasers, reasons why DST should or should not be changed and random contests to win St. Patrick's tokens and more.
We'd love to have you join us, and remember: any new player to the board automatically receives a Pony Up token in addition to the chance to win the current contest. If a player brings a new player to the board, they will also receive a Pony Up token just for doing so!
There is also a 2nd place token for those chosen contests.

since I've never been there, and we hope to travel there later this year.

14. My father died when I was 7, so I would enjoy meeting him again. Among the living I would enjoy meeting Ken Jennings of Jeopardy!
