I have been a member of GoldToken since 2001. I was born in Sheffield, England but I now live in Killamarsh. I'm

for a living, but am currently between jobs since being made redundant.
I currently run a few websites that keep me busy and I keep looking for the next BIG idea

I would like to thank all the players who play at this great gaming community, without the community this site would just be a basic run of the mill game site like all the others.
for all you do around GoldToken! You are so very helpful in many areas and your expertise is
(Sherry) in 2004. We met, I believe, on IYT and she told me about GoldToken. I checked it out and have been here since. Not only did I form a lasting friendship with Sherry, I have met so many really nice friendly people here at GT.
Everyone is very eager to assist you if you should have a problem with a game or even another player. I especially enjoy the site tournaments - you sign up and GoldToken does the rest. I love everyone in Management, I think Mary has done such a tremendous job with the site since she took over. Although I still visit IYT, GT is my online gaming home!!
. I have been on GoldToken since June of 2001. My sis ( BcurbOTF ) and I were told about this site by our uncle
. At this time
was the proud owner of GoldToken.
My sis passed away in March of 2005. We played on Several Species of Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave and Groovin' With a Pict club as long as the club lasted.
was the founder of that club. We won most popular club the first time there was a Most Popular Club vote, voted by the GoldToken players. Sadly
had some medical problems and could no longer manage the club so we had to close it. I am so proud to say that

. I mean really what cave is complete with out a
Club and I was one of the lucky ones she asked to join the club. We send out cards for Get Well, Sympathy and Inspirational to let our players know we and all players are thinking of them. We still make the cards but we can no longer mail them out due to the huge increase in the postal charges. We do miss that part of the process. Now it is necessary for the club member to print off their own card after we make them. There are still six members to the The
Club that do the cards and we appreciate all the players who contact us and allow us to make cards for members in need.
In the time I have been a player on GoldToken there have been times that were really hard and would have been even harder with out the love and support of my extended family here. I have made some very special and I pray lasting friends on this site.
.
I would like to ask the Goldtoken family to please keep my parents in their thoughts and prayers.
It would mean a lot to have the emotional support of my friends and acquaintances here.
My dad was diagnosed with cancer last fall shortly after I came down here to Florida. They found cancer
in both lungs, his liver and 2 tumors in his brain. His most recent CT scan showed liver cancer spreading.
The chemo treatments were stopped recently and Hospice has been contacted.
Last weekend my dad suffered a mild stroke so he is unable to speak, other motor skills are functional, but he can't write due to a shaking in his hands (medical issue). There is no set time on how long he will survive this. I keep praying for a miracle, I was fortunate to have spoken to him just before Fathers Day. I am not able to travel home to see him and that upsets me. My mom said there would be nothing I could do that is not already being done for him. If he should pass before I could come home, she told me they would get me there for the funeral. I pray that he will get his speech back so that he can at least tell her he loves her one last time.
