WANTED: Players with a sense of humor

What is a paraprosdokian? A paraprosdokian is a wordplay type in which the
final part of the sentence or phrase is unexpected. It is used to create humor and surprise the reader.
On the board, the host provides the first part of the sentence and your entry finishes it.
For example, this is one of the winning paraprosdokian entries:

1. How'd you choose your name for GT?
- My parents chose it for me at birth!
I sometimes wish I had gotten more creative with it when I first joined GT. There are some really creative names on this site!
2. What interests you most on GT? Do you have a favorite game?
- I enjoy chatting with people from different parts of the world. I love that aspect of it. I go through different phases of having a favorite game. Right now I really like All Aboard because I'm still learning strategies.
3. What state or country do you reside in? What do you think tourists should definitely see?
- I live near Portland, Oregon. There are so many lovely things to see nearby. Multnomah Falls is definitely worth the trip. The Oregon coastline is also really beautiful.
4. What hobbies do you have?
- I'm a musician. Singing
, playing the keyboards 
, etc. I also like to crochet. Swimming is one of my favorite activities. 
5. Children? Grandchildren?
- I have one funny

and beautiful daughter!

- I'm a retired grade school music teacher.

- Shelby, my sweet, sweet Australian Shepherd, recently passed away

- I visited Northern Europe years ago. I think the furthest country I've been to is Sweden.

- I wish I could time travel back to my hometown of Prescott, AZ in 1978 so I could spend one more day with my Gramma. I miss her every day.

- Spring. It's such a hopeful time of year!

My profile shows I joined in 2001. WOW, where has the time gone. I grew up playing backgammon, monopoly, jumping hopscotch, playing marbles and jacks. I do recall taking four or five years off to just breathe normal. I was bombarded with work and hopping from project to project trying to scratch an itch. I finally found what I loved doing and there was no looking back.
I love this site. I was introduced to this site by a friend from IYT, who is no longer playing here. I love collecting tokens. I just wish we could move them around. My favorite is The
Renegades Gaming Club. I think I have always been a Renegade. I don't think it is possible to find better friendly people.
AND since you only live once, eat all the red velvet cake you want. So what if you get fat. We only get one life to live--so make it count (as I wipe the white icing off my face).

Best Nugget submitted throughout the month. All entries will be posted in a poll for voting, and the winner will be announced in next month's newsletter.
Winner will receive two extra months on their current membership, or, if Guest, a two-month Silver membership.
Nuggets articles give players an opportunity to write various tutorials, strategy guides, and other materials related to playing each of our many games, as well as general information about out various site features. Once approved, the new Nugget article will be added to the appropriate category for all players to see.
Searching and sorting functionality is also available, allowing you to easily find what you are looking for.
Guest and Wood level players can submit one Nugget per month. Players with a Silver membership or higher can submit as many articles as they want.
When submitting articles, please be sure to only submit content that you have written yourself, or that you have a permission from its author to post here. Citations and links are obviously fine, as long as they do not lead to inappropriate content.
