1. Place your pointer/cursor at the beginning of what you want to copy and click the left mouse button.
Keep holding the button down and drag over the words you wish to copy.
You can drag across or down.

Press and hold Ctrl then press A. Release both buttons.
2. At the end of what you want copied, let go of the mouse button.
What you chose to copy should be highlighted.
If you make a mistake then click the left mouse button once to unhighlight and try again.

Go to the top of your browser. Click on 'edit' and a menu will drop down. Click on 'copy.'

Now put your pointer in the highlighted area and RIGHT click. This will bring up a menu. Click on 'copy.'

How to Paste
1. Go to where you wish to paste your selection.
It can be on a completely different page or application.
2. Place your cursor at the beginning of where you intend to paste and click the left mouse button once.

Click the right mouse button in the same place. This will bring up a menu. Click on 'paste'.

The Three Cmd's
1. cmd-a..highlights the entire page or if you are in the "togo" box it will highlight the entire "url"
2. cmd-c..copies what ever you have highlighted
3. cmd-v..Pastes the previously copyied or cut text any where you are able to type.
Yes, CMD + A does highlight the whole page when using webtv. If you want to highlight specific lines though, you place your cursor where you want to highlight and while holding down your SHIFT key, you use your ARROW keys to highlight.
