I've been thinking about starting my own club. Where do I begin?
Any player in good standing who has Gold or Platinum membership status can own a club! It's a good idea to check out some of the existing clubs and see what features you like and how different club owners utilize officers. There's a discussion board where you can post questions for other club owners and officers:
Club Presidents. There are plenty of wiki resources on the Wiki Web, if you need to learn how to create and edit wikis and make links, accessible from the link at the bottom of your gamesheet, as well as an Info page devoted to
Clubs and Federations. When you're ready to dive in, click on the "Clubs" link at the top of your gamesheet and then look for the "Interested in starting your own club?" link.

Easy Chicken Bake
Ingredients
1 cut up chicken or breast pieces
1 envelope onion soup
1 small bottle of Catalina dressing
1 small jar of preserves like apricot, pineapple or whichever is your favorite
Directions
Put chicken in a 9x13 baking dish
Mix all Ingredients together and pour over the chicken. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Enjoy!

The
Sallyp and Friends Club has met their membership goal of 150 members! A full club and they are running some special prize tourneys to celebrate.
They still have a very active amount of wiki tourneys each month, they start 40 or 50 wiki tourneys some that only their club runs. Don't despair, they will start a waiting list if some other GT members wish to join the club. All you need to do is contact
sallyp or
johnnyyboy and they will send out the club invite as soon as there is an available spot.
The
Daily Laugh Club reports that 24 tournies in their ongoing Games Challenge for 2017 have been completed. They had 15 different winners in 15 different games in the finished tourneys. A total of 34 different tournies are in progress now, all this in addition to their monthly wikiless tourney, inter-club challenges and special games.
They are certainly a busy club with something for everyone. Whilst they take their games playing seriously there is always time for a giggle.
The husband had just finished reading a new book entitled, “You Can Be The Man Of Your House.”
He stormed to his wife in the kitchen and announced, “From now on, you need to know that I am the man of this house and my word is law. You will prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I’m finished eating my meal, you will serve me a sumptuous dessert. After dinner, you are going to go upstairs with me and we will have the kind of fun that I want. Afterwards, you are going to draw me a bath so I can relax. You will wash my back, towel me dry, and bring me my robe. Then, you will massage my feet and hands. Then tomorrow, guess who’s going to dress me and comb my hair?”
The wife replied, “The funeral director would be my first guess.”

West of the Setting Sun Club announces with great fanfare and celebration that in May the 2016 Meijin Profile Token tournaments concluded. It was a very close race for 1st place with only 2 points separating 1st place and 2nd!

POKER is a game of decisions. Doesn't matter what cards you get but what decisions you make when you get those cards. It is FUN!!!

For the Love of Draughts Club has commenced a series of tournaments to determine their biennial club champion in each of the checker variants. Signup for the CHECKER variant club championship has commenced and they also have regular monthly tournaments proceeding with Armenian, Restriction, Russian and Spanish checkers featured in June's tournament in signup.

Astronomy Club members are preparing and getting ready for a major solar eclipse which will visit many parts of the world on August 21 2017 with over 2 minutes of totality. This will be a major astronomical event.

We’ve profiled many clubs here on Gold Token, but there’s one that’s truly different from all of the others. Owner
RabidWolff of the Wolf Pack says
The Side of the Milk Carton Club is the only club (that I'm aware of) that is a place for members to have one centralized place to search for information on missing players. There are links within the club to other areas on the site to help locate players. But the most used feature is just the discussion board where members post questions about a missing player, and if other players have information on them - they will post a reply.” The club was “created on May 5, 2013” and she explains how the name was chosen, “I'm showing my age here, but back when I was a kid and milk came in a paper milk carton the companies used to post pictures of missing children on the side of the milk cartons.”
The Side of the Milk Carton Club is one of the few which doesn’t play any games, but still “it is always growing in membership.” She sees firsthand the emotional connection GT members have for each other, “The most rewarding thing about this club, is when we can find an answer to why a player is missing instead of just never knowing what happened. These reasons can vary from just being on vacation, to a broken computer, to an illness, hospitalization and unfortunately, to someone passing away.”
The future of the club is “The same as now, just to try to have members helping other members…” Everyone is welcome, “
The Side of the Milk Carton Club is open for anyone to join. Just remember there are no games played here, it is strictly just a place to possibly gather information on a missing player.” And many times, that is enough.
