The best and easiest classic Apple Crisp dessert recipe topped with Strawberries, Whipped Cream and Blueberries.
APPLE CRISP
•Prep - 10 min
•Cook - 40 min
•Ready In - 1 hr
•Serves 6
Ingredients
•2 1/2 cups apples - peeled, cored, and sliced
•1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
•1 cup white sugar
•1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
•1/4 teaspoon salt
•1/2 cup butter, softened
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. Lightly grease an 6x9 inch baking dish.
3. Arrange apple slices evenly in prepared baking dish.
4. Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
5. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal; sprinkle over apples.
6. Bake in preheated oven until topping is golden, 40 to 45 minutes.
7. Cool slightly before serving.
WHIPPED CREAM
•Prep: 5 min
•Serves: 6
Ingredients:
•1 pint heavy whipping cream, chilled
•1 tablespoon powdered sugar
•1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
1. Place all ingredients into your mixer.
2. Start your mixer on low so you don't make a splash.
3. Once the danger of splashing is gone, about 20 seconds, switch to a faster speed and let the mixer do all the work until you get stiff peaks, light and airy.
4. Taste the cream to adjust sweetness. This recipe is mild in sweetness so it won't take away from apple crisp dessert.

•Prep: 5 min
•Serves 6
Ingredients
•6 oz (1 pt) Fresh Blueberries, rinsed, stems removed
•16 oz (2 pt) Fresh Strawberries, rinsed, cored, halved
Directions
1. Top apple crisp with whipped cream

I joined GoldToken 6th of May, 2004. I was on another games site and a GoldToken member found me there and invited me to join here. It is my favourite place to play games. I enjoy all types of tournaments and have won some over the years. Favourite games of mine are the Senet, Rummikub, Dominoes, and Dice Dots and Dice Pipes games, but I play many other games as well. One day I hope to master Backgammon. I have joined a few Clubs where I find lots of Club multi-player games offered and I love playing those. I don't care to belong to a lot of Clubs as I believe in quality, not quantity, and I like to research Clubs on my own to see if I want to join them. I'm not fond of anonymous invitations.
The late blackangus was my best friend here and taught me a lot about this site and about the games. R.I.P. Linda. I have lots of interesting opponents but would rather not name so I don't forget someone.
Other than GT friends online [none of whom I have personally met] I spend a lot of my time with my family of 5 sons, 4 daughters-in-law, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Strangely, I have Chumped no one on GT, and my Friends list is empty. I like to stay on an even keel and be friends with all.
