Introduction

Hello everyone, GoldToken's November Newsletter is here for you all to read and enjoy! By this time you have probably rifled through your kid's bag of candy from Halloween and picked out all the good stuff, such as all the Reese's peanut butter cups! They seem to be the most favorite treat taken out of the kid's goody bags from parents, aside of the other old time favorite of Smarties that is!

November 11th is Veterans Day here in the United States, which is also known as Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom, Canada and other countries. It is a day to remember and honor those in the armed services who fought and died so we could live in freedom. They will always be more then just a name on the wall. It is also a time for remembering those who are at home or that are in active service at this present time. Please take a few moments from your busy day to pause, reflect, and thank those who have served and are serving our country.

This month also brings us Thanksgiving Day, where we take into account all the good things in our lives and give thanks. GoldToken Support would like to wish you, your families and friends a happy, peaceful and joyous Thanksgiving!

Site News

While October was an exciting month in GoldToken with our level one addition of the new tournament code from Chad and more new goldies created by our very talented firefly, November will be just as exciting for us! Chad has created and added GoldToken's new payment code that will enable players much ease to purchase 6 month or 1 year memberships for either themselves, a friend or choose to adopt-a-guest all right from the same menu! All that players would need to do is go to our Membership Options link and follow the steps all the way through to the end and waaaalaa, all done! This new feature also enables players to automatically upgrade or downgrade to a different membership level if players feel they want more or less privileges that are more suitable to them under another membership level. GoldToken Support is very pleased with another one of Chad's great creations and hope that players using this feature will feel the same!

In further news, GoldToken Support will be experiencing and adapting to a change in it's Management staff. While we are very sorry to see Tessa step down from our Management Team, we will all be encouraging her to do great with her schooling and new offline work duties! We know this can take up a great amount of time and will need a good part of Tessa's full concentration, so we wish her well and the best of luck! We hope to keep seeing her around GoldToken having fun when time allows her to be. Thank you Tessa for all your hard work and for all the joy you bring to our family game site! You will be missed on our Management Team!

Monthly Message from Badger

The gift giving season is upon us and GoldToken is no exception. November brings us classy gift certificates in the denomination of your choice to the GoldToken Store and a much easier ability to renew your friends memberships in the [ Memberships ] link at the bottom of your gamesheet. Club packages are available, and gift wrapping is always free when sending something to a special friend from the GoldToken Store!

GoldToken Review Club is planning out a cool 2006 GoldToken Yearbook. If your interested, or just want to contribute, please be sure to read the message from Sondra below!

One of the most wonderful things about GoldToken are the many bonding long term friendships that have cumulated here. Even more special are those friends that have had a chance to meet in person! I was recently privileged to enjoy a couple of those meetings when fireflyand I spent two weeks together planning out new game graphics (wooohoooo…you are going to just love the upcoming new surprises!!) and a very special dinner with long time friends, Man of Steel and { Player: b*elana }. I wish I could have seen all our players in the UK, but sadly, it is a big country and time just didn’t allow. But be forwarned, I will return someday!

Please note: While I would never recommend any child ever meet someone they met online, it can be quite safe when adults go with a trusted friend and meet their online buddy in a public place. Always remember that people online may not be who they say they are. So use the rule: Safety first, friends second.

• SPECIAL TOURNAMENT NEWS - At long last we are happy to announce the implementation of the long awaited new tournament code! Some of the features that you can now enjoy include multi-player matches, the ability to sort the tournament sign-up page by game type, our new Tournament Announcements Board, where announcements are posted every time a new round starts, a winner is determined, or new tournaments are created for signup, and the ability to have links included in the tournament description. In addition, tournaments can now be created with smaller divisions so that tournament play can proceed faster. Keep in mind that this is just step one of the code implementation and that many more exciting features are yet to come in the months ahead!

• For November and December, tourney prizes are Goldtoken Patches and Squiggle Pens! Join today for your chance to win one of these great prizes!

• Be sure to join our sponsorship tournaments for a chance to win a membership if you are a guest, and look for our combined Cube Galore tournaments!! These are a great way to get those elusive gammon tournament ratings!!

A GoldToken Experience!

Heyyyyyy... what's up here? Turn on the - what is this place?! !!! I just heard a voice calling me... I heard dice rolling on the table, some bones making noise How funny it all seemed at that time ... I started to with France, US, Brazil, UK, Sweden and more and more... and on the road of the games - I was and starting a new life... Shy and somehow daring in a corner of this "home" a "cowboy" named Indiana Jones appeared - big trouble - my heart was beating louder than an entire orchestra every time he was around ... And step by step a feeling was growing and 'es and 's seemed not enough. How beautiful and marvelous we feel now, is all around. A road full of surprises, trying to win games and losing a lot of them - for the new ones: this is how you will gain experience - but always .. Testimonials Of The Month

Four and a half years ago, my friend Packers Fan in IYT, told me about this site to play games at. He said, come on over and join me there to play more games...well, I did join him and 3 days later I became a paid member. From the very first, I loved it here. People were friendly, Management was very helpful whenever a problem came up and I was asked to join some clubs thereby meeting more new friends. At first, I only played checkers, but it wasn't long before I added other games to my list of favorites.. Backgammon, Nackgammon and Hypergammon. I think out of all the newest games here, I like Lucky Trax the best, followed by Grabble Race. Packer is still here but now goes by the name of GOPACKGO. I have invited other friends here and my daughter just joined, AJK. Thanks GoldToken Management Team for providing a special place where our families can meet and play games together in a nice environment. It must not be such an easy task to do, but you sure are doing it......Thank you......
