Clubs, Club Owners and Club Officers.
Why do we have clubs at GoldToken some may ask.
Club membership gives ordinary paid members a place to belong to.
In clubs members can enjoy meeting other members who play the same
type of games or to chat to on club boards.
Most Clubs play a lot of GoldToken's games.
Some stick to a game type ie. Gammon, Salvo, Shake its just to name a few.
Other clubs play only club v club matches.
You find clubs that are set up for discussions about various subjects
ie. Religion, Politics, Cookery just to name a few.
Members of clubs can usually get what they want from the clubs they join.
Owners of clubs go that bit further then most members.
The different types of clubs mean many different owners, though some owners
have many clubs.
What else do these owners actually do some may ask.
Most look around for other keen members of their clubs and make them into
officers.
The owners usually help set up club tournies,run polls keep members
informed of new tournies and help officers run their clubs.
They look around for potential new members and look after members
in their clubs.
Officers come in many types.
Some members of clubs see the various types of officers and may wonder just
what they do.
Most clubs have Presidents,Vice Presidents and Welcomers.
Presidents do lots of various jobs in the club and some do small jobs all
to keep their club running.
I am President with number of officer roles in a few clubs I am a member of.
I set up wiki tournies,run them and keep them up to date.
Other officers do club v club matches or set the clubs auto tournies up.
Some clubs have officers who look after the clubs various chat boards.
A lot of clubs have welcomers (usually a Vice President).
They do am important role in every club they welcome new members into their
club and also in some cases get them playing other club members to help them
stay on as members.
What are wiki tournies some may ask?
These are tournies usually set up by owners or Presidents were members
get to play other members in small wiki based club tournies.
The wiki tournies are different to GoldToken run tournies as game numbers and
results need to be entered by the players playing the game.
These wiki tournies can be a little tricky to understand by a few players
but most club officers will aid new and old members in getting their entries,
game numbers and results into the tournie wiki.
Auto tournies run by clubs are a little like the autos tournies that GoldToken
run for all GoldToken members but they are only for the clubs members of the
competing clubs.
Most clubs have ladder tournies they are a little like auto tournies.
These ladder tournies are only for the clubs members though.
To move up the ladder players need to win their games, the games start
automatically.
Although this is a brief item about Clubs and what happens in them.
There is lots more that GoldToken paid members can get out of been a club member.
Joining clubs is easy to do most clubs look for newer players to join.
They send club invites so look out for invites.

Granny's Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients
2 Cups Granulated White Sugar
2/3 Cup Cocoa
1 Cup Milk ( EVAPORATED CAN MILK )
ADD THESE 3 Things AFTER YOU BRING TO A BRISK BUBBLY BOIL AND THIS HAS BEEN CHECKED TO MAKE SURE IT FORMS A ROUND BALL IN COLD WATER
4 Tablespoons (TBS) Regular Butter with Salt ( Real )
1 Teaspoon TSP) PURE Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup of Walnuts ( OPTIONAL )
Directions no Extra salt needed because we are using butter with salt
Grease A Square Baking Pan with butter or you can use Aluminum foil or Wax paper and put Butter on either and place on bottom of baking dish or pan. Set A Side For Later
Combine Sugar, Cocoa together in a sauce pan and add the Milk to the Cocoa and Sugar, stir together, place on the stove on a small burner and turn on medium heat stir and keep constantly stirring until it gets to a rapid bubbly boil . Take a little of this mixture with a spoon and drop it in a cup of cold water, until you see it form a ball keep trying until you see a completely formed ball in the cup when you do it is ready..., once completed you are ready for the next step. Next step TURN off the burner remove pan from the heat and place on another burner and add the Vanilla and Butter and I beat this in pan with a wooden spoon. When the Butter and Vanilla has been beat in and it looks like the shine from the butter has gone, you can add walnuts and just fold them in... pour mixture in the greased square pan and let set. I cover and put in Refrigerator for at least a couple of hours ...Once it has cooled then I cut into squares...I usually get 4 dozen squares.

Well I have so many cats that it seemed appropriate….but maybe it should have been crazy catlady…. 
2. What interests you most on GT?
This is an easy question….the people here at GT are the best people 
I have had the joy of meeting….when I come in here it is like coming home.

Yes I belong to several….to name a few, The Friendship Club, Daily Laugh, Sally and Friends , and Home Place

I think I would want tourists to see some of the caves in the area. Old Mans Cave is awesome and a summer attraction for many people along with the Hocking Hills

When I can, I love to sit and do counted cross stitch

I enjoy reading whenever I can…I don’t go to many places without my e-reader

When a friend told me about this site I started as a guest and really enjoy the games and people I met at that time. I then went Platinum member and learned more about other games and met even more people. I didn't know what a "life line" this site was for me until my husband passed away almost 3 years ago but the warm "Friendships" I had made really helped me deal with the new life I was having to learn and moving on with it. October's contest is the best
New Game Design submitted throughout the month. You can include your own graphics, opt to use graphics already available on GoldToken, or if chosen as the winning entry, possibly have your graphics designed by our professional graphic artists. All entries will be reviewed for playability, and judged by GoldToken's Graphic Arts team. The winning game will be announced in November's newsletter. Winner will receive two extra months on their current membership, or, if Guest, a two month Silver membership, and see their new game added to GoldToken's venue of games (as long as it is feasible to code), sometime during this next year.
There are a number steps involved in creating a new board game. A new game design can be a variation of a current game or entirely new, but it must be original and not a game found anywhere else. Start with variations of games that you love, that you loved as a child etc. Work out what makes these games fun, what’s wrong with these games, what could be better. Look at all different kinds of games from many different genres. This is the funnest part of game design. We hope you enjoy planning your entry!

Berecca's Variety Club is celebrating its first year anniversary which is 4th October 2013! They are going to have a different game each month and they are encouraging all members to sign up for them. There will be 3 games every quarter, the months to sign up for now are Oct.-Dec.
They are also running a very important poll with 33 votes so far, they are asking all members to weigh in on this poll. The Poll is for the club members to vote on a "Angel Tree Gift". Each member that wants to donates 2 golderos, the proceeds will then be applied to a GoldToken Club Member for a paid membership.
