Since first playing it in 1965 the Ohio State University Marching Band has traditionally played it at football games between the 3rd and 4th quarters of play
It has also been the official R&R song of the State of Ohio since 1985.
Furthermore this song is also regularly heard at Cleveland Browns, Guardians and Cavaliers games.
