I'm new to GoldToken and I've heard about lots of different "tokens" - platinum, gold, silver, wood, onyx, profile and recognition. What are they? Platinum, gold, silver, wood and onyx tokens are all awarded to players for bragging rights. Platinum tokens are awarded when you win a site-run automated tournament. Onyx tokens are for winners of club-run automated tournaments. Gold tokens are awarded for winning other games. Silver tokens are awarded for draws or non-losses, such as in multiplayer games. Wood tokens are awarded for losses. These are tracked on your gamesheet. Profile tokens and recognition tokens refer to the same thing - decorative tokens displayed on players' profiles. They can be automatically added to your profile for reaching certain milestones, such as number of years playing on GoldToken or number of games played. They can be won by entering some automated tournaments. They can be gifted to you by another player. They can be won by entering some contests in the newsletter. You can also purchase them. The Recognition Tokens - GoldToken's Treasure Trove info page shows all of the tokens. If you'd like to purchase one, check out the Recognition Tokens discussion board for details.             We're having lots of fun with the Macro Photography Contest. Compete in GoldToken's Macro Photography Contest by posting your related image with a title on the Photozone board. A new image will be revealed each week. You will have a week to post your image before it's closed to reveal the next image. A poll will be posted for voting after the image is closed. August's game of the month is Giveaway Cribbage! Join us in a fun Double Elimination Tournament by signing up today for The Game of the Month - Aug 2019 - Giveaway Cribbage Tournament!  In this variant of Cribbage, your goal is reach the lowest possible score. The game ends when someone reaches the score of 121, and the player with the lowest score is the winner. Crab Dip 1/3 cup sour cream 4 ounces cream cheese, softened Salt and pepper 1/2 tablespoons minced onion 1/2 teaspoons chive 1/2 teaspoon parsley 6 ounces crab Dash blackened seasoning Dash Worcestershire Juice from 1/2 lemon 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Mix together all ingredients well. Top with more chives and place in refrigerator for 2 hours until set up. Serve with crackers.
