In November,
Mecir loaded a fairly big upgrade to our back-end site code, handling player account and password storage. This should be entirely invisible to you, the only difference is that recovery of forgotten passwords now looks somewhat differently. If you run into any issues, please report them on the
Bug Reports discussion board.
You should be seeing much faster page loads these days as well. Tomas has been digging deep into our ancient code and pulling, editing and adding fancy little bits and bobs all over the place. If you seek a special feature to be added to the site pages, please contact any member of The
GoldToken Capitulum Club team for it to be considered.

It's always sad to learn that we've lost one of our GoldToken family. If you know of a player who has passed away, you can send information or confirmation to
GoldToken Support. We like to include a brief message from someone familiar with the player on our
Golden Memorial Tokens Info page. There are a lot of great memories there!

Turkey Dressing
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
2 stalks celery, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
1 large onion, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
2 1/2 cups left over Turkey Broth, can add water to get amount
1 pkg. (14 ounces) Herb Seasoned Stuffing or Herb bread crumbs
Chop up your left over Giblets from your turkey
Directions
Heat the oven to 350°F.
Heat the butter in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add the celery and onion and cook for 5 minutes or until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.
Add the broth to the saucepan and heat to a boil. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the stuffing and Giblets and mix lightly. Season to taste. Spoon the stuffing mixture into a greased 9x13x2-inch baking dish. Cover the baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the stuffing mixture is hot.

As her name implies,
smiler5 has a sense of humor, so it’s entirely fitting that she is owner of The
Daily Laugh Club. She explained how that came about, “The Club began in 2008. It was one of the first Clubs I joined when I came to Gold Token in 2010 and I took over the running of the Club from the lovely PattyMac two years later.” Not much has changed in that time, she says, “The Daily Games were introduced in 2012, but otherwise why change a winning formula?”
She cited a philosophical reason for their name, “I think these words on our Club Home page tell you about the choice of name. 'Humor is infectious. The sound of roaring laughter is far more contagious than any cough, sniffle, or sneeze. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. In addition to the domino effect of joy and amusement, laughter also triggers healthy physical changes in the body. Humor and laughter strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use. So join The Daily Laugh for a good laugh and a great time!'”
With that in mind, she listed the things that makes the club special, “The Daily Giggles, posted by the owner and the members.The setting of a new game for each day. The warm,supportive atmosphere which makes members a group of friends.”
When asked if the club specialized in any particular games, she answered “No. We will play anything and everything GT has to offer! Members are encouraged to let the Officers know what they like to play. Obviously the most popular games feature prominently as there is ready take-up for these. There is always a wide variety of games on offer and in progress.”
She enjoys the challenges running the club brings, the most rewarding being “Thinking up ideas for new challenges and tourneys; getting feedback from members, and learning new wiki skills!”
As for the future, her goals are “To keep it vibrant and maintain the high membership levels. Above all to provide FUN and GAMES for all the Lovely Laughers as she lovingly refers to her members .” And to readers who like the sound of all this, she declares “Everyone is welcome! ” The Daily Laugh Club
