marcmandy has created two sets of video tutorials aimed at two different group of players here at GoldToken. The first set of 5 videos is aimed at people who are both curious about and afraid to get involved in playing Wiki Tournaments. They are designed to take the fear and mystery out of the tournaments. The first one is the longest and explains what a Wiki Tournament is. The remaining 4 are relatively short and were created with simple to understand, step-by-step directions on how players can enter their names during sign-up, send invitations for the tourneys, entering the game numbers and entering the winner of the game. The second set of 4 videos is aimed at Club owners and Directors. At the request of one owner, these were created as a walk-through of the process of setting up a Site-Run Tournament from start to finish. The last segment directs them to other resources on the site. 1- What is a Wiki Tournament? https://youtu.be/pXo013GJo-g 2- So you want to join a Wiki Tournament: Signing up https://youtu.be/uNTkt0CKuS0 3- How to send an invitation to play a game https://youtu.be/Oe7RbBUGmeI 4- How to Edit a Wiki Page: Number entry https://youtu.be/wNN6Fn3QWvk 5- How to Edit a Wiki Page: Entering the winner https://youtu.be/08lx2iJtBzw Create a GT Site-Run Tournament 1-Creating and picking games: https://youtu.be/GynMvZNem6U Create a GT Site-Run Tournament 2-Make Changes and Verify: https://youtu.be/4HIIQg__Uv4 Create a GT Site-Run Tournament 3-Where is my Tournament? https://youtu.be/NZ1BlRj6zqE Create a GT Site-Run Tournament 4-Find the written instructions: https://youtu.be/3MXnViyB_q0 These can also be found on the Site Wiki Web under GoldToken * If you have a question about a site tip or helpful tool you would like answered next month, please send GoldToken's Newshound a message before the 25th of this month.

Best Blog Contest What Is A Blog? A blog (according to Wikipedia) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject such as food, politics, or local news; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. If you decide to enter the world of blogging, you should decide what kind of blog you want your blog to be. What do you want to write about? Are you going to write about many things or something specific? Decide how often you are going to add entries - every day, once a week, once a month, etc. Once you have decided what you are going to write about, you need to think about how you are going to write it or enter it into your blog, be it by text, by pictures or even external links. A great blog will take advantage of all of the above things. Your blog story or viewpoint can be enhanced and made much more enjoyable and interesting to read by the use of pictures and links. Write about what you are passionate about, write about what you know and make sure you know what you are writing about. For the more serious bloggers, be aware that you won't be taken very seriously if your blog is full of grammar and spelling mistakes. So make sure you spellcheck. No matter your blog content, people will continue to come back to read it as long as you continue to make it interesting.
We have a winner for the Best Short Story contest!Actually, we have two! to JanuarySnowAngel and murrsquito! You can read their stories below: MUSIC By murrsquito He lived in silence. He dreamed of hearing music. Then, one day, they found one another. She held his hand. His heart beat. It was rhythm. She kissed him and he felt his blood flowing inside him. It was melody. She smiled and it was all the lyrics of all the love songs ever written. And they were music. Janvaria by JanuarySnowAngel As a young adult, Janvaria lived a life of fantasia. She always danced to her own tempo, making friends but no real soul mate. Regardless of her efforts, the outcomes were small and flat. It seemed like she and the guys she dated were octaves apart. Most could not overlook her non-conforming demeanor: libero and scherzo. Thoughts of her failures ran crescendo through her mind. She began to think that her chances of true love were diminuendo. But she was strong-willed and refused to let the chorus of disappointments overcome her. Little did she know that her trebles were merely a prelude to a future dulce senza misura. Then on one of her acoustic nights, she found herself wading barefoot in a water fountain. She had kicked off her shoes furioso, where they landed in a nearby bird bath. Splashing passionato, her once unsettled mind was finally in pausa. Then mysterioso, a young man appeared quite maestoso, yet allegro. He scooped her shoes out of the bird bath and sang acknowledgment of her love for the birds, offering the poor birds footwear. His eyes twinkled giocoso and she smiled back modesto yet intimo. At once her heart felt adagio. “This man is sharp,” she thought. “But I don’t feel the need to speak marcato to him. He is the one!” The two continued the night in their own nocturne, quite relaxed with each other, talking and moving improvvisato. It was only a month when they decided to tie the knot to become Mr. & Mrs. Eroico Pastorale. The guests were a medley of family, friends, and folks off the street! The church resounded sonoro as the ushers entered gustoso. Then all went tacet as Janvaria stood at the back of the church. The guests stood grandioso certain of the duet; these soulmates about to become one. The bride was arioso, as she glided poco a poco down the aisle. The groom took her hand as she approached espansivo. Eroico evoked the declamando nature of the union they would soon share. In concerto, they each offered their vows. His sounded a capella, strong and forte. Janvaria, in awe of her good fortune, uttered her words vibrato, yet true. Once the sacrament of matrimony was complete, the celebrant instructed the couple to kiss. Eroico put both arms around Janvaria in a cavallaresco manner; he would never let the world disappoint her. At the magico kiss, the guests called for an encore. Janvaria looked deep into Eroico’s eyes with speaking pianissimo, “This is one chorus I will always want to repeat.”
